The only "Cone of Shame" you can buy... worry about nothing else. We tried a few others but found that either the sizing or fit was wrong in one way or another. What they got right about this product: * Easy to put on and adjust around your cat's neck. The secure and fully adjustable lanyard easily tightens once the product is on your cat's head, putting minimal stress on him or her. * Comfortable and very soft for your cat. You can and do use it as a pillow!* Moves forward or backward with your cat's neck movements, allowing them to eat and drink freely/naturally without stressing them out by being in their line of sight at all times. Because of this, they can also jump up and down freely without being caught by the edge. It also comes in very handy when she needs to use the litter box.* A collar wide enough to really make a difference and keep your cat from getting to many surgical sites. The thing is, a lot of these collars aren't big enough for that, and I'm not sure why manufacturers don't make most products wide enough. With this product my cat can reach the end of her (due to injury) shortened tail but not her hind leg. Also, I trust this product to keep my cat from licking the surgical site when I can't be there to watch. Having tried other products, I just don't trust other alternatives to the typical vet's plastic cones. Until this one arrived I removed the other alternatives I had purchased and reverted to the standard vet approved one. *Easy to clean and easy to dry. also a picky cat!
