I bought these for myself and my running partner for a non-cup race we recently attended. This is great because you can add a carabiner and have easy access to it while racing. Drink, rinse with water and you're done. Haven't tried anything hot. Probably won't work that well, but I'm not sure either of these types of mugs will fit. Ideal for hiking and mountaineering because if you don't attach it to a backpack, it flattens out nicely and pops out again. I didn't get the blue cup. Received 2 transparent and black. never mind I highly recommend it.
