Great all round bike backpack

Tried different mountain bike backpacks with different designs of bags/pockets, tubes and straps. This seems to be the best of the range for general use, long bike rides and has a simple/ergonomic design. Have done over a dozen rides with this pack, from easy city rides to 4-5 hour mountain bike rides through hot Florida. bungee straps), but I tend to find that when I fill my USWE pack to more than 2L+, the strap presses on my chest when I push the bike hard. Camels are good, but generally don't have enough pockets. /pouches for my taste and I never seem to get the full amount of water I need due to the Camelbaks bladder port design. The Osprey backpack can hold over 2 liters without feeling uncomfortable or bulky on my back. The straps are good and reliable, they don't bother too much. The pocket/pockets design of this Osprey backpack is super easy to access (you just have to get used to where all the pockets/pockets are, but you will find out where all the pockets/pockets are very quickly). The additional tool pocket at the bottom of the backpack is a clever design idea that reduces the weight of the backpack, making it convenient to carry the backpack on long journeys. I can carry all of my daily essentials (keys, wallet, phone, headphones) as well as tools (multi-tool, roadside assistance, spare tube, mounting lever, mini-pump), snacks (gels, bars, and powdered electrolytic sticks), a small bottle of bug spray, and a light raincoat all fit easily into this piece without feeling too heavy or bulky. There are only two points to note about this backpack: First, the included hydration bladder does not have a removable tube. Osprey offers a detachable hose or conversion kit version. I would recommend any of these for easy cleaning and the like. I ordered the 3 liter version separately because Florida is hot and muggy. Second, the chest strap/integrated magnetic hydration tube mount is on the opposite side where the tube is pulled from the pocket. This allows it to be detached from the magnetic holder very easily and quickly. Luckily, you can remove the chest strap and flip it over so the magnet mount is on the same side where the hose exits the bag. It's a bit finicky, but you'll thank me later if the hose doesn't smack you in the face and chest while riding.
