Bought these pants hoping to get a ripstop cargo pant. These pants appear to be mostly cotton, making them a poor choice for most non-leisure activities outside of the urban environment. Ripstop is a very durable fabric for outdoor use. Ripstop fabrics are available in a variety of weave densities and blends of fabrics, typically nylon and cotton, with reinforcing threads woven at regular intervals in a hatch pattern. That shading isn't visible on these pants and it looks like they belong in the 1990's given the choice of material. It's 2020 and the military have developed high performance fabrics that we are now using for the general public. These pants have the look and feel of girls cargo pants without the utility or performance of true ripstop cargo pants. Bad marketing and poor choice of materials make me give it 1 star to help those who are looking at this review and wondering if this is a quality tactical pant. You are not.
