This mounting system is very secure, well made and the tilting mechanism works great. Not a few inches wider so it uses 3 bolts (16th " overstretched) I should have read reviewer G. Knight's comments on this before ordering. I should have checked the bolt placement before ordering this mount. I found that the center line of my optimal TV placement on the wall was almost directly above the stand. So I had to move the bracket to the left to the farthest recommended holes. After installing the TV on the bracket and moving it to the right to compensate, the wall bracket sags an undesirable amount. Avoiding this model and choosing a series instead ST670. On the other hand, if you have adequate space to wall mount your TV, or if you're lucky enough to have your TV's centerline squarely between two stands (give or take 2 inches), this mount will do the job just fine My advice: consider where you want to place the TV and make sure your stands are optimally positioned before ordering.
