As sets of good brush pens can be expensive it's nice to have budget options. I use these cartoon/anime drawing pens and they work well for practice drawing. However, the tips of these pens are hard and can be difficult to use if you are used to working with soft brush tips. It is generally easier to draw thick and thin lines in one stroke with soft brush pens than with these. But I see them as a really nice addition to a set of soft brush pens and I think they would go well together. With these knobs you can make really consistent lines *because* the width doesn't change. I'm deducting a star because the tips wear down a bit after moderate use.
