Everydrop 1 filter is a good product but I think as a fridge filter it is quite expensive. I have a large household, a family of five with two dogs, and our daily water needs are quite high. The water flow with filter 1 takes a long time to fill a cup of water, especially when everyone comes home around the same time and everyone wants ice water. So I recommend every family over the age of four to buy a water filtration system instead of relying on filtered water through the fridge. We recently upgraded to a Waterdrop reverse osmosis water filtration system under the sink. Although the system was expensive to purchase in the first place, it definitely met our water needs, and the replacement filters are also affordable given the filter life and frequency of replacement. The system is also very stylish and takes up very little space. I use filtered water in the mornings to make coffee and fresh juices for my family and everyone loves it. I think the main reason is that the system reduces a large percentage of TDS in the source water and the filtered water is not that "hard". With this reverse osmosis system, you no longer have to worry about it.
