Comica beats Rode for the money
I've had 3 Comica mics, each with their own strengths. This shines with vocal isolation right in front, just like cardioid microphones. The sound quality is warm and conveys vocal bass well. I am impressed. The extra bass settings and 10+ decibels don't seem to make much of a difference to me, but maybe I'm just not the right person for the occasion. Either way, this is a good mic and a good choice for many. Watch the video for audio samples.
