Review on ☕ Black+Decker KE3000S-KIT Stainless Steel Gooseneck Kettle, Pour Over Coffee Set, 1L by Dana Young

I have used several different kettles and this one from Black + Decker works very similar to others I have tried but the quality of the material (especially compared to Bonavita) is noticeably lower quality. The kettle is slightly larger than the Bonavita at 1.2 litres, but the handle feels and looks like cheap plastic. The Black + Decker pulls the heating element up the inside of the kettle compared to the bottom which in turn is rougher than other kettles and I think this results in more heat on the outside of the kettle. I also don't like the shape of the spout as much compared to the Bonavita, which has a longer spout and is easier to pour cleanly. One of the secrets of a good pourover is pouring water gently onto the bottom, and the shape of the neck makes it a little more difficult. when buying a kettle. They remind me of parts from Mr. Coffee Maker's old coffee maker. Apparently I was very disappointed with this kettle but it's not, it's not bad at all, it does the job, heats the water quickly and to the right temperature. the temperature you want, but it feels like a budget set. When you can buy a better quality kettle at a great price and get a much nicer kettle for a fraction of the price, it becomes difficult to justify that kettle at that price point. If there's a big sale, then this is a great option.
