I only bought this because I didn't have the right screw to mount my new Intel 660p NVMe SSD directly to the M.2 2280 port on my AsRock Z170M motherboard. These screws are patented and very difficult to find in the aftermarket. So I had to use something similar or buy a new motherboard. It works without any problems and without a heat sink on the SSD. Speeds exceed 1900MB/s in both read and write on the Seq Q32T1 according to Crystal Disk Mark, which seems as good as I could expect if it was plugged directly into the port.
