I ordered one of these in white to see if it would fit and look good next to my full size bed. I chose this because I'm washable as I have 3 small dogs and didn't want to invest in anything real unless I knew how they would react. That was 48 hours ago and today I ordered a second one for the other side of the bed. Our floors are all wood and the more expensive carpets we had kept slipping and moving. I had no idea if this cloth back mat would cause slippage, but I was pleasantly surprised. it hasn't moved since I put it on. As for my 3 little fluffy babies. no incidents or special interest other than someone seems to think this is a new bed for them and seems to enjoy lying on it. Now for the aesthetics. looks like a real sheepskin? Of course not! But for under $40 I definitely couldn't find a fuller or fluffier one. Speaking of which, when I took it out of its neatly folded packaging, it certainly didn't look the best. I just shook it out and put it in the dryer for about 15 minutes. I don't need to bother you with the picture as it looks exactly like the photo. Of course I can't speak for durability or wear and tear, but for the price. If it looks good after a few washes, I don't mind replacing them after 6 months if needed. I guess now I just need to find one of the matching pillows they advertise to balance the look. I hope this helps you as you try to decide on an order. Update: Today we washed the second one for the first time and it turned out to be something completely different. more like a bedspread than a rug. The back is completely different and instead of looking like a flat back at first it has some sort of padding between the layers and more closely resembles a sheepskin cloak. It is evident that the seller obtained the goods from different sources or materials. We both like them, but now for very different purposes. However, since we can still use both, I'll be ordering a third in hopes of getting another with a backing that stays flat as a rug. Who knows, but for $40 I'm willing to order another one. However if the quality drops from here I will update again. With small dogs and a toddler snuggling up against them, I'm just grateful they can be washed.
