The bottom of the lid extends to the volume/channel buttons. Turning the volume down is easy, but when it's all the way down on the key, it's difficult to turn it up because it's about the same height as the key. You will need to use your fingernail to get between the cover and the bottom of the button. You should cut off the cap just before the button
