Review on TeChef Tamagoyaki Japanese Collection Non Stick by Shawn Parker

I bought this pan in August 2018. I really liked this little pan. I used it every day to cook many small dishes, mainly eggs. I originally bought this to try my hand at tamagoyaki, which turned out great, only to find it's a good skillet for all sorts of other foods. Don't get me wrong - it does what it's advertised to do. I give 5☆ for durability/cleaning/usage because it deserves it. My 1☆ rating reflects that its ad uses "New Teflon Nonstick Coating". It's more like "CONSUMERS BEWARE" when you see phrases like this. This is NOT a slap to the seller but to the manufacture and how it promotes the carcinogenic chemical. Of course, non-stick cookware is very convenient, but at what price? After we painfully realized how much DuPont/3M has poisoned 99% of the world with their "amazing" non-stick Teflon chemical called PFOA (aka "c8") thanks to a Netflix documentary called "The Devil We Know" (when If you want to be informed, I highly recommend watching it), I've reconsidered everything our health organizations have been covering up by concealing the harm this chemical continues to do with the "biopersistent" form of c8. It cannot be destroyed or leave our body. I'm not sure, but I'm curious if this "new Teflon" technology this TeChef pan is heralding is just a new "GenX" chemical made by a DuPont subsidiary: Chemours. If you google GenX (or look at the "GenX" wiki article) you will see that it says "GenX has been shown in laboratory tests on rats to cause many of the same health problems as PFOA". *NOT* the best version of Teflon. If you're looking to try and reduce your exposure to these cancer-causing chemicals, please see this documentation and don't buy anything made of Teflon or that "new Teflon." It was a great discovery for us and I'm just trying to pass this knowledge on to everyone. If you prefer the convenience of non-stick technology to your health, then this is definitely a great frying pan.
