I've had WeatherTech floormats on my previous trucks for years, but didn't want to spend that much on floormats for my new truck. These rugs seemed to be the solution. If you're familiar with WeatherTech, the first thing you'll notice is that these floor mats have a more rubbery feel and are less stiff, but in some ways this makes it easier to fit a full-size rear seat. The only thing that worries me now is the rear seat sills, the rubber doesn't lie flat and flexes when I close the doors. I hope that if you leave the doors open for a while the carpets will settle. I didn't like the design of the passenger mat either, Toyota doesn't put mat mounts there, but the Gator mat is designed to be used with the included anchor that you have to screw into the floorboards. I didn't do that, I wanted them to match the OEM so I'm going to unscrew the screw on their anchor so I can use the cap to seal the anchor hole.
