Installation was fairly easy but of course we've installed a half dozen of these kits on various bikes over the last four years so this isn't our first rodeo. The wiring harness is plug and play. The quick disconnects were a little different, stiffer than we're used to, and I had to fiddle with the cable routing on the bags because they are so much thicker than similar sets from other brands. Other than that they held up and looked great. Nice and bright. It appeared to be of good quality but the check engine light came on on the first drive out of the garage. I checked the codes and reset the lightbulb. A lot of work had been done on this bike over the past few days so it looked like it really could be anything at this point. The HD dealer immediately blamed aftermarket headlights, but those weren't the only headlights added, so they couldn't pinpoint which ones. We ignored this and carried on. The light went out, then came on again. It seemed to come and go. So on a whim we turned off the light on the case as it was the only product/manufacturer we knew we hadn't bought yet. That day we biked for about 5 hours - over 200 miles - and the light never came on until the trunk light was off. Unfortunately it's too late to bring them back so we're stuck with lights nobody wants. on her bike. Next time I'll know better and stick with HD or Custom Dynamics.
