I've tried several other cold water boots. I have women's shoes in sizes 8-8.5. They fit well and are snug and 3mm thick is a good thickness to stay warm in 60 degree water for a while. They only lasted a couple of times before the stitching came undone. I was in the middle of a swim and wondering why one leg was numb and the other was not. The bootie inflated, allowing "warm" water to pass through and circulating cold water inside. When I got out, the seam was completely torn. Well they were cheap.
