Difficult to use effectively for eyeglass wearers at close range.
Purchased for electronics assembly. A 4 inch lens has a fairly shallow depth of field and significant geometric distortion unless parallel to the viewer's work plane and focal plane. This means that you have to fiddle around with a magnifying glass during operation. You'll need to dig or buy a USB power adapter to power the light. I'll buy a Luxo, the standard of performance I'm used to from work (albeit more expensive).
