That's why I love this thing - I have compulsive body issues, one of which is related to my eyelashes, if I see or feel an eyelash curve slightly or cross another eyelash, I I'm going to pull them out, which of course meant that I had almost no lashes left. I bought this thing because I figured if I could feel the whip fall out, maybe I could "straighten it out" so I don't have to pull it out again. It works great for me. I chose this particular model because of the "comb" design. It has REAL comb teeth that allow you to penetrate between the lashes and separate them perfectly. No whip out of place! This was the only model I could find with a clear comb, all the others looked like they had small nicks. However, I'm not sure if this design makes it the best eyelash curler, maybe there are better models out there. But if you're more interested in separating and straightening crooked lashes, this is a great tool!
