Bought these shoes for a child and they lasted the entire dance season. They were comfortable and fit like the same size shoes a child normally wears. The healing is slightly higher than some other tap shoes, but it's balanced so it doesn't feel like you're walking in a high-heeled shoe, but the entire shoe lifts off the ground higher than other tap shoes. Though the kid wasn't embarrassed. Good price for shoes too.
