Excellent quality cables with very durable RJ45 connectors. Speed is Category 7 as reported when a compatible modem is connected directly to your computer losslessly at 100 feet. Mine is installed in the basement under my house so it's not exposed to UV rays, but I wouldn't worry about that. Weathering or breakage, run outside or bury as directed. The cable uncoils with no issues and doesn't bind, but I always uncoil and pull the cable all the way out before installing, just in case. And I'm skeptical of those claiming data loss. With no intermediate connections (unmanaged hubs, etc.), you won't lose speed with this cable when connecting directly from a working modem to a working computer. I connected this to old low end hardware with a 300kbps modem, 100kbps internet service and a 10 year old computer. I bought this particular cable because it is weatherproof and durable and I figured why not just get some good stuff. It exceeds my expectations and I will buy it again.
