This unit works much better than the previous one

Replaced transducer and depth gauge on my 2007 Moomba XLV. This block works much better than the previous one. Easy to install if you can figure out how to route the cable through the bilge to the console. The instructions are clear and simple. It worked the first time, it reads the depth accurately. The only thing I don't like is that the red backlight is on all the time and there's no way to dim it or turn it off.
