Looks good and can be economical for travel and light camera use, but the quality is worth the price. This tripod is very flimsy, the valves are leaking oil, the chunky ball joint and spirit levels have literally dried up after a few weeks of ownership. There are really few benefits other than form factor and weight, but if you're serious about traveling with this thing, it just isn't strong enough for it. It was barely strong enough to stand on a shelf and not break on its own.
