They have hydraulic bearings which are best for computer fans (most fans for that matter) but "only" " are designed for a service life of 30,000 hours. Typically, hydraulically mounted fans last between 50,000 and 300,000 hours or more. This puts them in the lower quality range of hydraulic fans. But even with 30,000 hours, they should last for several years. I have attached a photo of the specifications from the side of the box received, which differ from what the manufacturer says. Being hydraulic, the fan can be placed in any position and the same bearing life is expected. All the connectors are 3 wires that feed back the fan speed to the MB and the speed can be controlled from the MB. . Each connector has 2 additional power supplies for LED lamps and each fan is equipped with a large 4-wire connector for direct connection to the power supply. This is an important item that every fan should have as an option since motherboards tend to have a limited number of fan headers. The 4-wire version is slightly better than the 3-wire version, but the difference is mostly down to preference. If you want to "save" energy, this is a better investment than a more expensive computer fan. In terms of noise, the fans are virtually silent and run very quietly, as a hydraulic bearing should on a 120mm fan. They're rated at 43CFM and appear to be hitting that (but that's just a guess). If you sit next to another fan of the same size but lower quality, they clearly produce MUCH more air, maybe three times more than a cheap model. I was impressed with the difference in airflow for a very small price difference. The fans are also equipped with screws and feature high-quality vibration pads that help stop metal and plastic rattling and dampen vibrations coming from the fans. The LED colors are fixed and this is the only place I have any complaints about these fans. Many motherboards have LED controllers, but very few manufacturers support them. When turned on, the fans have a nice spiral look that only side-lit fans get. So these aren't high end fans but the value for money and value for money definitely make them a 5 star product and should provide years of use in my new computer build.
