Verdict: Better than freezing, but not very good. Bought to wear under a horse helmet. It's warm, fits under my helmet, stays on my ears and the slit in the tail is a plus. But it has major flaws. He's too fat. The riding helmet is quite tight at first, and this makes my helmet too tight. The brim of the cap also digs into my skin so much that it leaves an imprint on my forehead that disappears after a few hours. I have a fairly small head (size 6 7/8) so if you have a larger head it can get quite tight. It also came with no washing instructions, which is annoying. So far I've hand washed it, which I'd rather not do unless it's necessary. So far this seems to be the best option as it washes out an incredible amount of dye even after a few washes.
