Our 9 year old puts his feet in when he goes (we have a small hobby farm) and kicks them out when he comes back. warm (he often walks without socks when feeding his horses) which is new to him because he really doesn't like the cold! Despite all the wear and tear, they still look new and are easy to clean with a little soap on a washcloth. We had -9*F weather with gusts of 50mph and 2ft of snow plus frozen mud puddles on the ground. Not once did he step inside because he was cold. He is 9 years old and we cannot keep him in the house. We RECOMMEND these snowshoes! The blue is bright enough for girls too (we bought the blue camo) and we hope you find our review helpful!
