This fantastic trigger is reliable and a worthwhile upgrade for the X1T. Changing settings just got a lot easier with the addition of physical buttons and a dial at the bottom. But the best part is the ability to control the trigger from the Godox app! I find this particularly useful when taking architectural photos with multiple lights, as I often turn on the camera remotely and can't easily return to the camera to change settings. Now I can move around the house and change settings on the go without touching the camera or light! This might not be a big deal for event photographers, but for those triggering the camera remotely, it's a HUGE benefit. However, one caveat to my 5-star rating is Godox's terrible customer service. I tried to contact them several times with no response. So you have to take care of troubleshooting yourself. Personally, I struggled to get the phone app to connect to the shutter when I first got the X2T when it asked for a password. I had no idea what a password is or where to find it. It took several readings of the manual to finally find the code (page 42 of the manual) written in the fine print in the "Using the Flash Trigger" section. A nice big card with code included would be helpful! To save you the hassle, the code to connect the app to the shutter via Bluetooth is "000000". Enjoy!
