Very nice soft curtains. I have white, off-white. I believe they will have thermal value. They don't block 100% of the light, but they do darken the room, which I'm 100% happy with. Actually, I just ordered 3 more sets. Very pretty and worth the money. The seams look good, the threads are not sticking out. My guess is that darker colors block almost all light (just a guess compared to how much bright white blocks). I definitely recommend them. I use them in my office to block glare from my TV screen and in my bedroom to block out street lights. If you want to darken and white your room, get these. They are off-white but look very pretty. They offer privacy as you cannot see through them.
