This is a very good inverter with stable output current, good display (shows input voltage and current output power in watts ). It will power everything in my RV except the air conditioner/heat pump. Such large loads that have compressors and motors require a short surge of current to start and this inverter simply doesn't have the capacity for a brief surge of voltage and shuts down immediately. (Unlike my old 1800w Xantrex inverter which started and ran my rooftop air conditioner with no problem). A very pleasant surprise is that these 800mA (0.8A) inverters have a much lower standby current draw than most. This makes a big difference as most inverters of this size draw 2-3 amps in standby mode. I would recommend this inverter for RV's but due to the significant overvoltage required to run an air conditioner on the roof of an apartment building we had to upgrade to a larger size. (We upgraded to a 4000 watt Gandel pure sine wave inverter and can now run absolutely anything with just 1 amp, or 13 watts in standby.)
