Review on SEISSO Mica Powder Silver White - Shimmering 100g Pigment for Soap Making, Bath Bombs, Resin Art, Crafts & More - Natural Non-Toxic Colorant Dye by Karla Richter

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is not mica powder

mica powder shine, like a very fine sheen. They are used to create a metallic or shimmering pearl effect. This is a shimmering pigment that is not a mica powder. I was misled into thinking I was getting mica powder because the first line said mica powder. If you use it in polymer clay, it will disappear into the clay without leaving a glossy sheen. I compared it to real mica powder and it is a pigment not mica powder. I also bought the silver black SEISSO and it definitely has a place with polymer clay. Although not glossy, it is a dark pigment that can be applied and wiped off, leaving well-defined ridges and surfaces. I would rate this a 5 but I only had one chance to rate my 2 purchases so I averaged. White is fine if you're not expecting a shiny mica powder and just want to add a white pigment to your tone. Haven't tried it yet. Charcoal is a great clay product to use for rubbing and defining crevices and ridges, and is pretty much for polymer clay lovers like me.
