UPDATE: I had planned to receive this item almost 2 months ago, it was said to have been taken but I was not refunded, there was no update on the Amazon page about the refund and the seller told me that they will refund me my "refund" but only if I delete my review from this spreadsheet. Before that, I was offered twenty dollars. So obviously the only way you'll get a refund for that table is if you help get other people to buy it so they can get ripped off too. Original review below I was so excited about this table and spent almost 4 hours putting it together. The instructions are just blurry pictures with no descriptions or words. When I FINALLY had it assembled I turned it over to get a good look at the finished product and I saw the decal, yes I mean the decal, which is said to be real wood and was peeling off the pressed panel. When I took the parts out of the box I knew it was a press board and I wasn't thrilled, but it was still a pretty desk so I decided to ignore it. But as soon as I saw that it was just a piece of semi-permanent wallpaper pasted onto a piece of junk, I was furious. I waited weeks to get the table and install it in my new apartment only to find out I wasted $140 and hours of my time on a piece of junk. The steel seems strong enough and the pressed plate isn't so thin that it breaks immediately, but I don't think the product is what they make. These photos were taken just after I took the board out of the box, the only thing I did was put the screws where they should have been. I had to look at all the parts before assembling but was so excited when everything was complete. I'm frustrated and now have to take the whole table apart, somehow put it back in the original packaging which ripped on my floor, lug it down 3 flights of stairs and return it. Nothing but pain and disappointment. I would be happier making my own plywood table. Don't waste your money on it, it will just fall apart.
