My husband gave me this set of chopping boards to replace my old plastic chopping boards. We're trying to be greener, and they're greener than the plastic ones. This is actually my first bamboo set and I'm trying them for the first time. I don't know why I waited so long because they are beautiful. You can tell by the feel and performance that they are made from the highest quality bamboo. They are very strong, light weight and very durable. They are also 100% food safe. You will receive 4 cutting boards, a cutting board and a pan scraper. I like the extra scraper. This is very useful, especially after slaughtering a chicken. There are 4 board sizes. Large - 13 x 18 and 1 inch thick. It has a groove on the outside so you don't make a mess on the counter. Two medium sizes: 9.5 x 13 and 8.5 x 11. They are about 1/2 inch thick and have non-slip feet. They are the perfect size for slicing vegetables and fruit. The small 6.25 x 8.25 is great for serving food at parties. You should always hand wash them because you don't want the wood to soak in water longer than necessary. If I needed another set I would definitely buy these again. They also make great housewarming gifts.
