Not for everyone: Hospital patient and gamer's eye

As a PC enthusiast and gamer, ergonomics and comfort are EXTREMELY important to me. I am torn between giving this product 4 or 5 stars. Has the product had a major impact on the ease of use and comfort of my facility, as well as the overall quality of life? Yes, but not without reflection and adjustments. I consider this product as a player before any medical benefits in terms of ease of use. Does this product affect your productivity with input peripherals? The moment I put it next to the mouse and rested my wrist on it, I knew it wasn't going to fit me. The curves on both feet always ensure a secure hold of the mouse and keyboard (see illustrations of bent fingers). I'm someone who uses a palm-style mouse, and I use my fingers in an extended, more relaxed position (photo available), so the palm rest actually makes things worse. I'm using an optical sensor below 1000 DPI, but the maximum sensitivity is in the software, so the base of my hand and wrist must be grounded for precise control and grip. Content creators and players will find that this can make things worse when you need precision in your movements (may not affect claw grip). I would imagine this could work with a palm grip if you're the kind of person who uses wide angle and uses the elbow for support. This allows you to move the pad up your forearm (see images). A person like me would need a flat palm rest with a very low height. The mouse palm rest just doesn't work with my mouse configuration and usage style. Aesthetically, it suits my setup well. The recessed grooves (dimples?) match my keyboard tray, and the dimensions magically match both armrests of my chair (more on that later). I also find that when I'm typing and thinking, I pinch my dimples as a fear mechanism, which helps me focus. One of my biggest criticisms as a PC enthusiast and manufacturer is the intrusive product branding. The big white elf fox almost broke the deal for me. At least the text is neutral white. If it should be there place it below, if not blacken and emboss. The aesthetics and themes of my setups are very important to me, and branding only works aesthetically when all of your products are the same brand or color, especially in an age where almost every part of a PC is RGB or non-addressable backlit. Despite all that, I'm inclined to give it 5 stars because it does its main job of supporting and comforting the body well, making it easier to sit and work. This review is from a hospital patient who had 15 surgeries and spent months motionless in chairs at tables and in bed. I had both arms, wrists and hands punctured and punctured with needles and IVs until pain shot through all my arms and I could not move. The keyboard palm rest provides excellent full-length forearm and elbow support. The memory foam cushion is also high enough not to prevent my keyboard tray from sliding over the chair's armrests, which is why I removed the faux leather pads that came with the chair! All in all, this may not be practical for everyone, but the medical benefits for those who spend long hours using a mouse and keyboard for work or hobby purposes are extremely valuable.
