This wrapping paper is better than many wrapping papers I've tried. In particular, if you fold it, the foil will also fold. If you use a lot of foil paper, the foil layer will tear when you fold the paper, leaving ugly tear lines on all folded edges. When you fold this paper, just fold it over and press it into a tight crease, the foil won't tear. I also like that this paper is not too heavy. That's the weight of a standard roll of Hallmark wrapping paper without foil. It's thick enough to be strong, but not so thick that it's difficult to work with. The patterns in this set are particularly good because they aren't very tied to any particular holiday. Gold paper with snowflakes doesn't scream "Christmas!" like Santa's paper does. In any case, this paper seems to work well for other holidays, rose gold also works well for non-winter occasions. In general this is a good paper.
