I dropped it about three weeks before buying it. I landed on both hands, badly injuring my wrists and base of my hand. I wish they were with me when I fell. I'm pretty sure my palm would soften that blow and save me from serious pain. I wear them now and they help ease the aches and pains of the miles while I recover and protect me from re-injuring my palms if I ever forget how powerful hydraulic brakes are again. They look great in black with subtle but gorgeous iridescent stripes down the back. Great looks, good protection, helps with my carpal tunnel numbness and comfortable for rides over 30 miles, no problem. I love her.
