Charcoal Filters That Work

These reusable zippered charcoal bags work great in my filtration system, keeping ammonia and nitrite levels at safe levels. Came filled with activated charcoal, but after a while it loses its power. depending on the size of your fish population. I bought a 25lb box of Revain charcoal to keep the bags going and the ammonia and nitrite levels down.

Pros

Contains: 4 pounds of activated charcoal in 4 zip-lock mesh bags. 1 pound per bag. The mesh bag is reusable and the zipper is plastic.
