Review on Experience Music Without Limits: Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM - The Phantom Black Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker by David Stewart

Great speakers for 60€!

I bought this after buying another branded speaker at a lower price that didn't work properly. It cost about $20 more than the other brand but with a huge improvement in sound. I am very impressed with the quality and sound of this little speaker. It's about the size of a softball, seems very durable, it bounced when I dropped it off the couch onto the floor. wet environment without worrying about it. In addition, it is backed by a 2-year limited warranty. It gets really loud, I doubt I'll ever need to crank it that high, but at max volume it still sounds pretty clear. Bass is good but not too weak like most speakers of this size. The loop stretches a bit, I was able to hook it onto the towel hook. I think I'll be buying a second pair with these in the near future. I deducted a star due to traces of black grease remaining in the candle area. Also, the lack of an auxiliary input and the attempt to determine the battery level is not very good. If you press and hold the + - buttons at the same time, they will make different sounds to let you know the level. I would prefer LED lights or an app. I use it continuously at different volume levels, have been switching between my iPhone, iPad and Apple TV for over 10 hours now and it still works. I'll run it dry to see if the LED (solid when on, flashing when charging) does something when the battery is low. I think for $60 you can't beat the combination of durability, water resistance, volume, portability, sound quality, and a two-year warranty.
