These bulbs look great, they're nice and bright and you can't beat the price. The color temperature is just right, warm but not too yellow. They warm up moderately, like all xenon and halogen lamps. The installation instructions are definitely written for professionals - i.e. you are pretty much on your own due to a lack of information, so here are a few tips based on my setup. four small protrusions that should snap off if you try to knock them out, but (of course) they don't. If you have a Dremel, place a metal polishing tip or tiny whetstone on it and gently sand down the two adjacent burrs. You should now be able to partially knock out the hole, allowing you to rock it back and forth until it pops out. Alternatively, take a jumper wire, stick one end into a holder and cut the connector off the other end so the wires can be plugged into a plug or electrical box. This way you don't have to mess around with knockouts at all. Is the gap too narrow for the clamp connector nut to rotate? OK, do it the other way around. Use your fingers to hold the nut over the hole on the inside of the tool. Then, instead of trying to turn the nut, insert the threaded end of the clamp connector through the hole in the nut and turn the connector. When tightening, the two screw heads on the clamp must face up to ensure the bracket is mounted on a flat surface. If the screw heads are not facing up, unscrew the clamp, remove the nut, turn 1/6 turn and try again until the screw heads are almost up when finger tight. You may have to do this multiple times until you find the right spot. When you have done this, complete the tightening by inserting a screwdriver, punch or some type of metal rod into the hole at the bottom of the clamp connector and twisting the connector. Easy? no But it solves problems. I hope you found this helpful! ***UPDATED 01/18/16. The price has gone up $20 since I wrote this review, so you can definitely beat the price now. At the current price of $68, you might be better off looking into some LED closet lighting. This way you don't have to change the lightbulbs every few months. The price increase combined with lower prices for lower maintenance LEDs makes me deduct two stars. The price of the LED equivalent is about what I've paid for replacement bulbs since I bought this light. The value just isn't there anymore.
