Review on 🎤 Canon 2591B002 DM-100 Directional Stereo Microphone - Black, Ideal for HF/HG Series Camcorders by Monica Ross

I bought this mic for my Canon Vixia HF-S200 HD camcorder and it works great. When I install it, a small icon appears on the camcorder to indicate it's installed. Stereo sound is excellent. When I listen to my recording with headphones, I hear everything as if it were live. Background noise sounds like it's behind you, and objects moving left-to-right or right-to-left sound like they're live. The windshield is a real talking point. Everyone wants to know what I have installed on my camcorder. It looks like a cat, squirrel, raccoon, etc. but it doesn't matter what it looks like. It deadens a lot of wind noise. Works great, unless it's very windy, then the wind noise is a bit annoying. But if I take it off and try it, you'll see that it really helps. I would recommend it to others as it really has great sound quality and significantly reduces wind noise.
