I needed a knife set as I have just moved. They are priced right and fun to look at. They work. Absolutely. Apparently they don't fade (I have no way of verifying this). There is no "serrated knife". I discovered this while trying to cut a roll. That's when I realized I had screwed up. Not suitable for cutting soft objects. Other than that, they are what you would expect. Sharp enough for kitchen use, very easy to clean, almost no problem; and they're red, which is cool. But now that I have a serrated knife, it doesn't fit. I think I can live with that.
