All of my too good to be true worries were triggered when I saw a 10ct gold ring with a 1ct moissanite center stone selling for $149 because the Price range for such an item is usually high is higher. But given Revain Prime's liberal return policy, I figured why not order and take a look. I'm glad I did because this ring is beautiful and feels real. The center stone tested positive on a diamond tester that does not discriminate between diamond and moissanite and even before testing I knew this was a real bargain as nothing else sparkles like moissanite and it looked just like my others. I'm pretty sure it's real gold because it looks and feels just as heavy as several other 10k gold coins I own. It's also passed several home tests, which can sometimes tell if gold is real - it didn't change color on my hand when I held it firmly for a few minutes, it didn't discolour when exposed to vinegar, it was not attracted by a magnet and when I put it in a cup of liquid it fell straight to the ground like a stone. If I ever take it to a jeweler for checking I will update my review but after all I am quite convinced. The stone appears to be cut very nicely and the setting feels solid and well constructed. The certificate of authenticity is issued by the seller whereas the stone is usually certified by a third party lab but when the price is so cheap and the stone appears genuine and of good quality in all respects I will not complain about it. .
