Update: Only about a year before they start falling apart

Update (December 2019): After 3.5 years these sheets have multiple tears (in random middle places, not at the seams). I tried to fix it with a sewing machine but it only works for a month or two before the crack starts. I had two of these that I rotated back and forth. So if you buy just one, you'll have about 1.5 years before they have multiple breaks. Not terrible durability, but not great either. I still like their feel - they're pretty cool and smooth (compared to other cotton sheets). Initial review: $25 each, that's fine. I've had them for two years now. I really like her, I have no complaints. It can be difficult to find a king size black sheet that I like. There are two problems with them. First, I have an 8 inch memory foam mattress (just foam, no mattress) and they are just _a bit_ too short. One page is always short. It's not a problem because it's only about an inch and doesn't really cause any problems, but I wish they were a little bigger. They could be better for a 7 inch mattress. Second, two years later I had to take out a sewing machine to fix a seam that looked like it was about to tear. As I am changing two sets of these kits it means that after about a year of use a small repair was needed. I like that they are elastic all around. All in all they fit my needs and I would buy them again for the price I paid. But if they were more expensive I would really consider competing options.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • makes me nervous
