Review on Victorinox 4 Piece Knife Fibrox Handles by Keith Gonzales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love these cutlery knives and knife accessories

I love these knives. The set is just perfect, it has all the knives you REALLY need. Yes, you can get sets of 2-3 more knives, but these 4 are the ones you will use the most. First impressions were wow they are big, wow they are razor sharp and wow this bread knife is huge! The handles are large, making them ideal for men's hands but not too thick for women. If you are not a professional, an 8 inch chef's knife will suit you perfectly. I easily split a few large pieces of meat. Fish fillet. I can't wait to try it! It's a nice knife with a sharp point and just feels good. A 4 inch rabbit knife is a bit large for paring use, but it takes some getting used to. Just choke on the handle and it works like a smaller paring knife. A bread knife is not only good for bread, but also for tomatoes, cabbage and large clumps of celery. Purists will argue about the design of this cold-rolled stainless steel rollerless set. Don't pay attention to them. Thin, flexible blades and large Fibrox handles provide good balance and feel. It's easier to maintain consistent grain character and quality. Having worked in metallurgical labs for many years, I appreciate the hardness and quality of these blades. I have no doubt that the edges will last a very long time and regular steeling and honing will make them look razor sharp again. sharpness. This is a purchase not to be missed for both budget conscious buyers and foodies. Addendum: I love these knives so much I made them a top notch sharpening and stopping system with leather and diamond lapping paste. Guess what? After 2 months of daily use they still scream harshly. There are complaints about Fibrox grips, but I like them too. In contrast to wooden and silicone pencils, they are always clean, hygienic and durable in your hand. When a knife is that sharp, you don't want to slip. I wanted the Victorinox tomato knife I found at Revain to complete the set. However, all 4 knives remain so sharp that you can easily cut ripe tomatoes with each one. Maybe one of the kids will try to cut the stone so I can try out my sharpening system.
