Update :: 08/10/2017 :: As mentioned below I also ordered this dress from Eco Navy which has already arrived. I like that it's the same length and yes the fabric is a lot softer in this color than Eco Black (which is more of an anthracite color) so it's possible that Eco Black is the only color with a rougher fabric. If you're sensitive to such things, get Eco Navy or maybe try one of the other colors. This dress has the same casual elegance, but unfortunately it also has the same design flaw that the shoulder straps have to be made of too much material, in Eco Black the extra fabric is relatively negligible, maybe an inch, in Eco Navy, probably 2-3 cm could have been shortened. Although I have a sewing machine around here somewhere, I can't say I know how to use it! I'll dry the linens first to see if I can get them to spot shrink on my shoulders, if that doesn't work I ask a friend who can sew to help. The straps don't fall off when I'm wearing them, they just buckle slightly when I'm sitting. It's soft and probably one of those things that only I notice but then again it ranks this wonderful dress at a 4 star dress when it could easily have been a 5 star dress. It makes me feel like I constantly want to correct my posture, which I don't. bad but not what I expect from a dress. Also, XL seems to be slightly larger in Eco Navy. Although it doesn't seem too big to me, I would have preferred an L in that color. Hopefully that just means that if it shrinks I'm still very happy with the fit. Overall I still love this dress! The length and the comfortable yet elegant cut, the soft fabric, somehow it makes me feel slimmer than I am, I can imagine dressing it up for the winter and wearing it all year round. If it didn't have that weird flaw in the shoulder design I would definitely buy more colors as I'm not sure I'd take the risk of getting more. I'm 5ft 10", I usually wear 14. I'm trying to lose 30lbs and I have quite large boobs, 36y. This XL dress is amazing to me, almost perfect! I have Eco Black, which is actually an anthracite grey, not see through at all. This length is my dream come true, a real maxi length that slides over the parting, perfect in sandals, heels or barefoot. The fit is almost perfect, loose where it should be, supportive in the bust, I can wear it without a bra, and there is no obvious sagging or sagging, but this dress has a slight cut. If it were inappropriate one or all of my 4 sons would say something but no one did. I only notice that the cleavage shows a bit more cleavage than my standard tank tops. For the fit to be perfect, the shoulders should be raised about an inch, but when I wear it I don't really notice it, the straps don't fall off, the girls don't risk being naked. It's a bit dressy to wear at home, but that's what I've done so far. I'll wear it, although it's better without a bra, I don't feel like I'm being overexposed. i love the length I haven't washed it yet, I hope it doesn't shrink. The fabric is a bit rough, if it were softer I would give 5 stars. Other reviewers said it's soft, maybe Eco Black is rough? I'm so happy with it I've just ordered another one in Eco Navy, I'll check if the fabric is softer in that color. So, amazing length for tall ladies, it can be hemmed easily. Elegant style in casual fabric that doesn't show through (at least in darker colors), suits big breasts, definitely a bit sexy but not out of place, and I don't feel very fat wearing it, and let's face it eyes , no, you can accuse me of being thin!
