I bought this cap because I have long hair and wanted something that would keep it relatively dry. I've only swum in it a few times and the construction is solid but my hair doesn't stay dry. My scalp is mostly dry after 25 minutes of swimming, but everything under my ears gets wet. I like earplugs and noseplugs, good bundle deal. But I think I would have chosen a different color. The yellow is somewhat translucent. This is a well made product with plenty of room for long hair but don't expect it to dry out.
