So first of all. If you're paying $42 for a reservoir, it must have the manufacturer's bite valve cap on it. I don't have to spend $6 and order it separately. Don't get me wrong, I love Osprey products and will be ordering them this week. Although this is a disappointment. It sits so loosely on my bite valve that it falls off when I pick it up to move it across the room. I won't be returning it as there is no other way to protect my bite valve from dirt, but I expect more from the Osprey. I photographed this alongside a no name branded bladder which has served me very well and comes with a great snug fitting bite valve cover. And also. The entire unnamed bubble cost about $11.
