Great for almost everything!

I read a lot about these headphones and decided to buy them based on the good reviews and all the information on the web. Having not heard of IEMs over $1,000, I'm quite a fan of judging these things, but the sound is pretty good. It lacks a bit of bass, but most units allow you to add a little more bass with a DAC, EQ, etc. They are good for everyday use. I noticed that a lot of reviewers complained about the included cables (they're bronze in color). I didn't find them a problem, but I found that changing the cables to balanced 4.4mm actually improved the bass quality by 1/4, and it's about 1/4 louder too, which is amazing. These bad boys really need to be hyped to hear this OG cable bass. The cable I have in the photo is FiiO MMCX 4.4mm. Great for a classic. Woodwinds especially shine on them. So clear and fresh. For the acoustics they are good. Mediators sound crisp and clear. For R&B they are good/normal. The bass is a bit quiet, but nothing to complain about (just unplug the cable!). They are also good for electronics and synthesizers. Everything is so clear but the bass is low as I mentioned. Don't buy for heavy bass songs. Select HIDIZS MS4.

Pros
  • Ultra-nanometer membrane technology. The P1 uses ultra-nano diaphragm technology, only 1 micron thick, which offers higher resolution and faster transient response, making the sound more musical and natural. At the same time, the wide soundstage and sound pressure level (SPL) are comparable to on-ear headphones. This results in top-notch technical performance and a comfortable and immersive listening experience.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
