Review on TEMCo TH0004 Hydraulic Knockout Punch: Precision Power for Effortless Hole Drilling by Kenny Kowalewski

Good product for the price. I have a small problem. Problem 1: The product description says it is compatible with GREENLEE and other household rotary hammers, yes and no. I suppose it depends on what you consider compatible. GREENLEE punches are screwed onto the adapter pin, but the die does not fit on the pin. My kit included two adapters for .430 pull studs. They work with 1/2" and 3/4" punches that come with the kit. The molded case offers storage space for each drawbar adapter. A slot is perfect for the adapter. The other slot is too small, it seems it was designed for a smaller diameter drawbar. This smaller diameter bar seems ideal for the GREENLEE matrix to work. When I contacted the seller I was told that it pins included, one replacement. They suggest putting it in the smaller slot but placing the knurled handle on the other side to make it easier to pull out. Why I need a spare pen and why it doesn't fit in the case I don't understand Seems a bit suspicious but that's what they told me. Also, the picture shows three spacers of different sizes. My kit contains two large spacers and one small spacer. This wasn't a problem as I was able to punch 1/2", 3/4" and 2" holes with these washers. I don't know if other sizes will be a problem. Aside from my frustration that I didn't tue can use my existing GREENLEE punches, the TEMCo is easy to use, well packaged and looks like a quality product, I've punched dozens of holes in metal cases with ease.
