Review on Personal Ceramic Portable Mini Desktop 400 Watt by Glenn Rodgers

I bought this little heater because it is absolutely cold in the office where I work and even wearing a jacket in the office I still get cold. Heaters are somewhat taboo in most offices, and if they are conspicuous (at least by size. Admittedly, an orange heater alone is quite noticeable) then they can draw the attention of facility staff, who will promptly let us know we can't have them. Because of this, I wanted a small heater that wouldn't be too loud to disturb my cube neighbors. All in all, this little heater works very well. It's very compact and puts out a pretty decent amount of heat. Bigger than I thought for its size. I have the only shortcoming with him and it's just in the nature of the size if he, the little beetle, is a bit loud. I measured it with a cheap sound level meter and found it somewhere between 39 and 40 decibels at 1m. It doesn't sound loud, but it's louder than I'd like. 2-3cc people can definitely hear when I turn it on because in a 35 decibel environment that's the loudest you can hear. Luckily everyone is friendly and doesn't give me away to the heating police. :) In general, I like the heater and would buy it again. I just wish it was a little quieter.
