I was disappointed with this product. It has two main disadvantages.1). The design makes it impossible to pour water on anything you want to put in your brew basket. This basket needs to be filled, then screwed into place, and then immersed in the liquid already in the jar. This makes it impractical to brew tea or anything that might initially float when placed in water. 2) The screw connecting the brew basket and the lid is loose and free to rotate. The cheaply made plastic thread doesn't hold the basket securely. I wouldn't buy it and will actually try to return it.
