Simple packaging and easy installation. Personally, the only downside is that they have to be left plugged in, which means they have to be plugged into an outlet. I'm not a fan of open wiring, but the quality of the camera is amazing for the price. I use it to check on my son and visit the nanny. Remember it stays live unless you buy cloud storage or a 128GB SD card. I estimate that's about 12 hours of recording time.
